Murfreesboro wedding photography - Mandy and Ross

Mandy and Ross had an absolutely beautiful wedding at First United Methodist church. The day couldn't have been more perfect. I had so much fun with them on their engagement session and was looking so forward to the wedding.

Many times I imagine the kind of dress a girl should wear for her wedding based on her personality after spending time with her. Sometimes I'm wrong, but with Mandy, her dress was exactly as I pictured. Flowy with a touch of antique.

We wanted to do some photos outside the church and the weather was perfect for it.

Beautiful feminine details...

Mandy told me before the wedding that they would be leaving in a yellow chevy. This started all sorts of photo ideas rolling around in my head. I loved it!

The bridesmaids dresses were a fabulous backdrop for the bride and groom. In person they had an iridescent look. And looked incredible at the reception site, Oaklands Mansion.

Just love throwing the bouquet shots lately.

Murfreesboro High School Senior Photography - Katie

A couple of weeks ago, I met Katie for her senior session. She will be graduating in 2010 from Cannon County High School. We had to photograph through a threat of rain with thunder and lightning but didn't get too wet. She was great with just a beautiful spirit about her and an incredible smile.

Murfreesboro Maternity and Newborn Photography

John and Shelby contacted me a few weeks ago to do some last minute maternity photos. They already have a beautiful little toddler named Caroline with another little girl on the way.

So fastforward just a few weeks and they have a new beautiful baby girl - Anne Claire. What a blessed little family and I am so fortunate to be able to document this wonderful time in their lives!

Murfreesboro wedding Photography - Britton and Will

Britton and Will were married on a beautiful Friday night at Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening. From the gorgeous weather to the romance of a bride in a horse drawn carriage riding to meet her groom. Every detail was perfect.

My favorite picture of the couple.

Pretty pink details from the wedding.

There were lots of gorgeous little girls in this wedding.

Ceremonies are so beautiful at Oaklands. A lot of couples will get married on the porch of the house, but Britton and Will chose to stay under the trees close to the guests and in the shade to make for a wonderfully intimate wedding.

The happy couple!

What is more romantic than riding off into the sunset after getting married??

Murfreesboro Baby Photography - Sophia

Miss Sophia just turned three months old, so she and her parents came to visit me for a session. She was not the happiest, but let's face it, we made her change clothes more than once, put her down when she wanted to be held, and kept her awake when she wanted to sleep. I would be a little upset too. Fortunately, she still did great and we got lots of photos of her.

Murfreesboro Newborn Photography - Claire

Little Miss Claire was not into having her photo taken. I guess after all those months in her momma she just wanted to stay awake and see everything that was going on. Just when we were about to give up, she went to sleep and let us do all sorts of photos. That's a newborn session, sit and wait!!

Nashville Wedding Photography - Ashley and Andrew

We traveled to Scarritt Bennett for Ashley and Andrew's wedding. It is in my top favorite places for a wedding. A photographer's dream location, providing both indoor and outdoor locations and lots of great little places to get creative. These two were just made for each other. Andrew's dad performed the beautiful candlelight evening wedding making it even more meaningful for the couple.

It is so hard to be creative in photos with a large group of people, so here's a different take on the wedding party shot!

We snuck away for a few minutes right after the ceremony for these shots and I love them.

Beautiful wedding details. Have I said how much I love brown color combos??

Ashley let her down and danced the night away.

The cake tasted as good as it looked.
